Young people in need of care are gladly welcome

In our GFO Center Attendorn Wohnen & Pflege Franziskaner-Hof we are here for adult people. When one thinks of a nursing home, one certainly first has elderly and old people in mind. However, this has changed significantly in recent years: More and more younger people need care as a result of, for example, an accident or illness - such as multiple sclerosis or after a heart attack or stroke. The term "young care" has become established for this group of 18- to 60-year-olds.

We also offer this "young care" - in addition to the other forms of care and support - here at the GFO Zentrum Wohnen & Pflege Franziskaner-Hof.

We have a special concept for this. This is because younger people have different needs and wishes than older people in need of care - especially with regard to participation in social life and activities.

For our "Young Care" residents, we have a separate living area that is specially designed to meet the needs of these people (only single rooms are available). In addition, we naturally promote the encounter and togetherness of the different generations in our GFO Center Living, Care & Waking Coma Franziskaner-Hof.
